Elizabeth Hudson 1737 | Historical Reproduction Sampler | Scarlet Letter

Product Description

Brand: Scarlet Letter

This 18th century sampler comes from one of the earliest identifiable groups of samplers made in Philadelphia in the early 1700s, all thought to be made by women under the tutelage of a Quaker named Elizabeth Marsh. These samplers are defined by a four sided carnation border and several horizontal floral bands with pious verses.
